Out of Darkness—A Journey through the Book of Job

How can God be a loving God if bad things happen? It doesn’t take long when we look at the world around us to know that something is not right. The whole universe is full of brokenness, pain, and darkness as a result of human rebellion against God.

This year at WinterFest, we are going to dive deeper into the problem of evil through messages from one of our elders, Jon Seger. We will look to Scripture to learn of a man named Job who wondered the same things we do—“If bad things happen to me, does God actually care about me? How can I know if God loves me?” We’re going to learn that in suffering, God is faithful to bring us out of darkness and into the light so that we might trust Him and enjoy Him more fully.
