Adult Discipleship

We become who we are—together

“And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.” (2 Cor. 3:18)

Groups are disciple-making communities practicing the “one anothers” for the glory of God. In Groups—burdens are shared, sin is confessed, faith is encouraged, needs are met, and believers are spurred on. In this community, Christ-likeness is the highest goal.

Bible Studies cultivate both biblical literacy and rich community in the context of active, dedicated learning environments. Learn the Bible through personal study, group discussion, and authoritative teaching time.  Both Men and Women will meet in single-gender spaces, but will study the same passage, offered in fall and spring semesters.

Gospel City Classes will help you deepen your understanding of Scriptures and doctrine, and how to apply them practically to your everyday life. Classes are primarily an independent, topical study, with the chief purpose of education and increasing your personal discipleship. We currently offer Core Classes (11-weeks each) and Academy (1-year program).

As you prayerfully discern the right opportunities that will help you grow in your biblical understanding and obedience in faith and repentance, consider challenging yourself by engaging in a different environment than the ones you normally gravitate to.

No matter what discipleship environment you choose to participate in, know that the Bible will be opened and read with another person with the goal of transformation. As a Christian, it is vital that you not attempt to walk alone. Join a discipleship space that will help you grow!

Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. (Hebrews 13:7)
