Baptism
We look forward to celebrating new life in Christ through the sharing of testimonies and baptisms. When God’s people obediently declare Jesus is Lord through baptism, we get really excited. If you have yet to publicly declare your faith in Christ by being baptized, consider doing so at our Church Rally!
Important Details
As you prepare for the day, here are some need-to-know items:
- Bring chairs and picnic blankets to sit on, as we’ll be seated on the field.
- It’s likely gonna be HOT—So, pack extra hydration (water bottles, etc).
- If the provided hot dogs and chips won’t be enough, maybe consider packing some extra snacks.
- We’ll be outside all afternoon/evening, so make sure you don’t forget the sunscreen!
- If happen to be bringing a shade tent, you will be directed to a special area for setup so that we don’t block the view of the baptisms.
Parents—a few special notes for you:
- For safety reasons, please accompany your children (elementary age and below) during play time.
- During the worship and baptisms, games will be unavailable to avoid distraction. Please plan to help your kids participate during this time quietly and respectfully.
