John moved to the area from Pennsylvania to work for Life Action, where he met Sheila, whom he has been joyfully married to since 1984.  Together, they have been parents to 10 children (Andrew, Stephen, Joanna, Susanna, David, Deborah, Reuben, Joshua, Mary, and Caleb), and grandparents to 7 grandchildren.

John is part of the Facility Care team at Gospel City, and is responsible for maintaining the property and grounds year-round.  John and Sheila both have a huge heart for serving, and have worked in ministry for over 30 years.

When he’s not working on maintaining the church grounds, John likes to spend his time maintaining his own home and garden, or joining Sheila on the couch for the newest Hallmark movie.
