How I came into relationship with Jesus Christ I was blessed to have been raised in a Christian home and was taught the truths about Jesus early in life. My first response to the gospel was as a 5-year-old, but it was an experience at 6th Grade Summer Camp that prompted a conversation with my mom one night about the depth of a relationship with Jesus. That night I made the decision to submit my life to Christ. I have had many seasons of growth and going deeper with Him since, and He continues to draw me closer and change my heart in a way only He can!

How I came to Gospel City Church I started attending Gospel City in October of 2013, a few years after moving back to the area. I had previously visited when it was meeting at the school, but hadn’t leaned into the idea of letting roots grow in the Midwest. After a few years of bouncing around the country I began to allow home to feel like home again and God led me to Gospel City as my church family.

What I do at Gospel City Church I’m the Director of Women’s Ministry and Administrative Assistant for Discipleship Ministries.

Why I do what I do I love to serve the body of Christ! I have been volunteering in many different ways at the church before coming on staff. My favorite thing about the job I have is that I get to see God at work and be a part of what He is doing in so many of the ministries at Gospel City Church.

At Gospel City since October 2013

On staff since August 2017

Previous work I spent my most recent years as a banker at a small community bank. Before that I have worked as a director with non-profit youth programs, as a part-time volleyball coach, a P.E. Teacher, a freelance graphic designer and a professional barista…to name a few.

What I Do For Fun I love to host, cook and bake for friends. My most pinned items on Pinterest are recipes and tiny homes. I look for ways to incorporate hygge into every day. And I really love music.
