2024 -2025 Facility Expansion and Renovation Overview
Our leadership has been developing a “master site plan” as we continue to discern how to best steward our facility and campus well over the next 5-10 years. This first phase of expansion and renovation allows us to address some very felt needs in the immediate, without “breaking any new ground” outside of the building, in order to position us well for any future expansions.
This phase of facility expansion and renovations includes an elevator, adult classrooms in the loft, expansion of the loft, a new kitchen, additional kids classroom, new self check-in stations, new interior kids wing entry, an overhang at the south entrance, as well as addressing some flow issues within the kids wing and lobby.
Why Now?
We desire to steward the property the Lord has given us to best of our ability—for the purpose of continuing to make disciples who make disciples, all for the glory of God. Over the past several years, we have been increasing the size and scope of our equipping ministries, and the interest and desire to participate in them has grown as well! This includes the addition of Core classes and our Academy program, the expansion and alignment of our men’s and women’s bible studies, modifications to our membership classes, and more. AND—we have a desire for more opportunities to equip you in things like marriage and parenting and evangelism and so on, but we don’t have space to do this in a way that doesn’t add more dates and times to your calendar with our current capacity.
PROJECT DETAILS
LOFT + CLASSROOMS
- Convert current loft space into 4 classrooms
- 2 fixed-size rooms
- 1 large room with moveable wall for flexibility
- Expand loft area
- Allows for new elevator access
- Provides pre-function and informal meeting space
- Install elevator
- Makes classroom spaces ADA accessible
- Meets current and future needs
Kids Wing + Check-in Changes
- Convert existing kitchen area into kids classroom
- Dedicated, separate doors for Kid’s Wing IN and OUT
- Create new interior Kid’s entrance
- Reallocate current Kid’s entry to be exit-only
- Relieves current congestion at single in-and-out point
- New self check-in stations and a “decentralized” check-in process for Sundays
- Initiating a “pre-check” with the church app to allow families to simply scan a QR code to print tags when they arrive
New Kitchen
- Current kitchen space is not code compliant
- New kitchen will provide direct exterior access for catering deliveries
- Proximity to lobby for staging and serving events
- Proper ventilation added
Additional Renovations
- South Entrance Overhang
- This is a primary entry point
- Shelter from inclement weather
- Adds lighting where none currently exists
- Address other lobby flow concerns
- Centralize things like our “Meet and Greet” space
- Equipment and furnishing updates
- Refresh of some Kids wing hallway areas

- We will soon implement a “pre check” system very similar to airports that will allow you to check in prior to Sunday morning gatherings and other events. This will save time when checking in onsite.
