How I came into relationship with Jesus Christ Growing up in the church and in a strong Christian family, I was immersed very early on in the life of Christ. I honestly can’t remember not being a follower of Jesus. Around 10 years old, I made the decision on my own to declare my faith and be baptized. This was something that I shared proudly with all of my public school friends and my family. In my college years, the Spirit really opened my heart and mind to fully realize I was nothing without God and could do nothing on my own apart from Him. Only through His grace am I truly free. Knowing this allows me to fully rely upon and trust the Lord with everything I do, knowing He will direct me. I continue to seek His will for my life.
How I came to Harvest In 2012, God began stirring our hearts to find a church that proclaimed the Gospel with intentionality, and that would deepen our walk with Christ. We wanted our children to grow in their faith through solid teaching as well. We had heard good things about Harvest Bible Chapel, so we decided to visit. When the service was over, my wife and I immediately knew that this was our home.
